Club car seat bracket
Question.
My ds seat bracket that's attached to the seat frame was cut off (by the previous owner). Has anyone fixed this? And how? See in picture I'm missing the "S" bracket that holds the seat rests and supports the seat. |

Well, why they were cut off is not important now. That whole section is welded on. Looks to me like you will have to fabricate and re-weld the pieces back.
Would be more of an "L" shape. |

Re: Club car seat bracket
I would think that if you don't want to (or have the capability to) weld that frame (it's aluminum btw) that you could just bend some pieces of metal and bolt them on in the right place instead.
Here's what my frame looks like for reference: |

Re: Club car seat bracket
Thanks for the input guys.
I was just curious if there was an easier way than TIG welding a new piece on. The TIG welding is no problem. Just getting the cart to my shop is. I wonder if I could bolt a bracket under the support with the same angle. Do think that would work? Springbok, I see you don't have the flat extension that wraps under the seat. I would think the extended metal helps support the plastic body to hold up the seat. Is that piece of metal not necessary? |

Re: Club car seat bracket
I don't see why bolting a piece underneath would not work. Make sure the holes ae at the correct height.
