Re: Jakes Shifter install
With a shifter like that, and the school bus green seat, ya GOTTA HAVE the green ball! Obligatory!

Re: Jakes Shifter install
Nice "theme" build! When I see a picture of the whole cart, it would look wrong without the Hulk's ball.

Re: Jakes Shifter install
That is sweet! Love the look. Gotta have one for my 57 Chevy cart build. After looking at the 57 body, the rear body is about an inch lower than stock. Have not installed FNR switch. Is the floor shifter height adjustable? Or should I measure from floor and try to get that height? If I do I think it will be real close to seat bottom. Not trying to jack thread but thought I would ask while these are being discussed.

Re: Jakes Shifter install
Electric 95, 48v DS. No FNR installed yet. Have stock one. Must drill holes to install FNR. Want to put them in right place so I can install shifter like ericAndrews.

Re: Jakes Shifter install
Still doing body work. Don't want to drill holes until most of body work done, and make sure they are in right place. Would make no difference unless I upgrade to floor shifter, and then it would/could be the wrong height for it to work.

Re: Jakes Shifter install
you can put that f/r shifter as you wish
you will need to drill the holes to mount the shifter and for the shaft note if you use shifter do not use top hole , it shows above the jakes shifter plate you can make a template to mark holes if you want i can write up what you need to do like this attached is a PDF file of a club car DS install |

Re: Jakes Shifter install
Thanks for going through the trouble to help me Crash. I guess it boils down to this: If I put the stock FNR switch at the correct height from the floor (minus top hole as you pointed out) I am worried it will still be too high (stock lever hitting seat) and if I install it lower to avoid that, it will be too low for this kit to work. Kit should work if height from bottom is correct. I will go that route and trim stock lever if needed in meanwhile because I'm throwing money in every direction on this thing, and can't buy everything at once.
