Default Motor swap: CCW in a CW cart

I have a 92 DS that I pulled a FE290 CCW out of and dropped in a Big Block. I recently acquired a 2004 Precedent. It also has the FE290 but it's CW. I pulled the belt off the '04 and spun the primary in both directions to see what the axle would do in a CCW movement. It seemed to just spin opposite of the gear selection (put in F and it spins in reverse).

Is it possible to drop in a CCW in with a CW axle?

Pros and cons?

Yes it can be, and has been, done. The drawback is that the gear ratios for forward and reverse are a little different so you'll end up a little slower forward and a little faster reversing than you otherwise would. Of course you have to get used to shifting into reverse to go forward and vice versa.

Not worth it to me with a stock engine unless you want torque only.
What's wrong with cw engine?

The CW motor has a roaring To it. Not sure what the cause is, so, to
Cover my bases, and to finally find a use for the CCW motor, if the motor is shot. It's probably not. It's probably the crank bearing or the rearend input shaft.
