Carburetor Adjustments -- 1996 EZGO Gas
We drove our 1996 EZGO gas model as usual some weeks ago and parked it for the night. The next time we attempted to start it, it would not start. I checked everything and found that it was getting both gas and spark, but still no luck. It would fire with starter fluid, but would die again as soon as the fluid ran out.
I removed the carburetor, took off the float bowl, and cleaned everything. Still no luck. I put it back together and fiddled with the set screw on top of the carburetor. Finally got it to run, but it's short on power, and soon dies. It's apparently flooding, because I can smell the gas. What is the proper way to adjust the carburetor on this thing? |
