Removing clutch on 2006 EZGO 4 cycle
My 2006 EZGO TXT with the 295 4 cycle has some front drive clutch noise, and I would like to remove the clutch to check it out. I don't have a clutch puller, but I have a hunch I can remove the clutch by removing the factory installed 7/16"-20 thread 6-1/2" long bolt...useing a 3/8" dia round stock about 6" long into the hole the 7/16"-20 bolt was, and using a 7/16" -20 thread bolt about 1-1/2' long to thread into the hole to pull the clutch off the engine shaft.
Has anyone done this with such bolts and not a clutch puller? |

I don't know about all the sies you listed, but thats the way I did it. Take the bolt out, put a round stock bar in and another bolt and it's just like what a purchased puller would be like.
