Default 1991 Jacobsen Hauler

I am considering buying a 1991 Jacobsen cart with a 4 cycle gas engine and steel dump bed. I know it is the same as an EZGO Workhorse, but would like to find more info and specs. before I drive 75 miles to look at it.

I'm trying to find out if this cart has a longer wheelbase and if it has more weight capacity/ heavy duty suspension than a standard 1991 EZGO cart.

Here's a link for manuals on the ezgo and several others that might give you the info your looking for. It's under the Gas Tech thread at the top of the page.

I just picked up an EZGO manual I found on Craigslist for 89-93 2-cycle gas vehicles. It shows that the GX-440, 444 series carts have a 66" wheelbase and 800 lb. capacity. The GXT- 800 series turf truck has a 71" wheelbase and a 1000 lb. capacity. I would assume the 800 series turf truck is the same as the Jacobsen.
