I agree on the newer Yamaha carts being "Tippy".My Wifes' G16 has the single front-mount swing-arm with a 5'-lift,its' kinda un-nerving at times,and takes some getting used to on trails.Definitly go to side-by-side shocks,We tried some 400ex and similar shocks on my Mother-In-Laws cart w/7" lift,and I wasn't impressed.The stockers are stiffer,I just need to get the rates of them,then new-shocks will be easier to figure out.

i put adjustable chrome coilovers from a 1954 volkswagon from jc whitney i think they were about 60.00 bucks

I just installed some chrome coilover shocks off a Harley sportster on the front, if nothing else.. They look good! They are a lot stiffer than the stock, but on the cart you can't really tell, once I get the rear heavy duty springs on, it should be a lot better..I'm hoping!
I'll post pics when I get some.

I put ATV shocks found on eBay for $23 a pair. I had to remove one coil off the spring but they work great.
