dead battery ???
hey guys I have a g2 and haven't had many problems with it but lately I can go out and drive it all day just fine park it at night and I have a dead battery in the morning. I have fully charged the battery and checked the volts all good its almost like something is using energy till after the key is off any help would be greatly appreciated

im also trying to see if I can get some more power out of my cart it has stock motor but I don't wanna spend much lol been buying too much lately maybe air filter or other mods????

sounds like something is drawing power when the cart is not in use, or the battery is bad,, do you have a radio, or lights, do you leave it in reverse and the back up alarm is drawing power, is the generator charging?

no radio and It does have lights but I don't use them and I believe its charging I put a tester on battery and when I rev the motor the volts increase I don't know the volt output specs

and not leaving it in reverse either always shut it off in forward position

your battery may have a dead cell...may wanna load test the battery if you cant find a draw.

ok I will continue to try to find the source of the draw and just in case I do have to try it how do I perform a load test on my battery its a car battery 680 cca

remove your battery and take it to an auto-parts store.. They will check it for free in hopes to sell you a new battery!!..lol....Just be sure its fully charged when you take it to them!

I heard that a car battery will not last as long in a Golf cart. should use like a lawn tractor battery type, or a marine type. My 2 pennies
