No Luck
cut off the bolt heads to get the arms off but the bolt is frozen inside.
had to take them to a machine shop... hopefully they'll get them resolved for me without damaging the bushings

I've got the 6" Jakes lift with 2 1/2 additional for a total of 8 1/2. I wouldn't go any higher than that unless your putting 25's on it.

When you have a bolt frozen in a bushing, don't soak it with penetrating oil.Do this...Take an Air-Hammer with a blunt-punch or hammer-bit and rattle the head of the bolt on one of the flats, you can also rattle on the exposed threads(on the threads, not the end of the bolt.Keep rattling until you see rust-clouds coming out, then try again with an impact,or even a hammer and punch on the end,it will come loose. If you get it moving, use an impact gun and spin it,it will walk out a bit and stick again, leave it in the stuck-spot,rattle it more, and repeat with impact,it will go as soon as it clears a path thru the bushing. We do this daily on Leaf-Springs,and rarely ever change a bushing,it works 99% of the time.Hope this helps.

I upgrade my suspension as well,, (kind off the market) if you will, not sure how to post picture on here, running shock from a Chevy Camaro 4 in front and 4 in rear of the cart bought 2 standard golf cart shock (or so the call them) and made steering stabilizers out of them

Yep! Gonna need pictures on this thread. Dragos, you should be able to post pics now. Need G2 pics! Val - you need to post a few more messages, before you can post pics. I'd start chatting away. You found the best golf cart website on the planet bro!

I took them to a machine shop and they were able to get one out using a hydraulic press... the other was no game so i ordered a new bushing online.. hopefully it gets here soon!
I can hardly wait to get it all buttoned up so i can ride it with new tires & a new lift!!

So I guess its about time I posted some pics

Todays swapmeet find. I believe these are off of a 400ex. One of the bushings is missing but I was able to jimmy rig an off the shelf rubber bushing to fit in there.
Also picked up an inline gas filter

Daddy's little helper. I put on the 2" spacers in front but ill wait until I get my new rubber to put on the rear ones
The steering does feel a bit heavier now.

I removed the shock extenders and these guys fit perfectly

I haven't received the front a arm bushing but I stuffed a rubber one in there temporarily until I receive the one I ordered. It has a tiny bit of wiggle.

Overall I am really happy with the lift even though most of it I didn't use. Lol
The shocks I got for only$40! And they feel great, not too stiff at all.
