Re: shut down g9
Are you sure its a G9? May be a G2, (white steering wheel) and they have a rev control built into the ignition.

Re: shut down g9
So the gov bypass would cause this? It's a brand new prom clutch and belt

Re: shut down g9
No, the rev control is electronic, and can't be disabled. If you want more speed and performance, need to lift it and put larger tires on it!!
Looks like a pretty decent car, just needs a little loving care!! |

Re: shut down g9
No I ment I wanna make sure I fix the problem and that's the issue, it's getting a whole makeover the next few weeks, including lift /wheels and tires, new seats paint job and lots of black diamond plate,
I paid a little over 400$ for it, 260$ for a clutch and 35$ for a belt it runs great , the prev owner did not mention the clutch.. Owel |

Re: shut down g9
Not sure I'm answering the question, but the rev limiter governs the RPM the motor is allowed to run. So 19 MPH might be all the car can do with stock tire diameter, and stock ring and pinion. Your going with larger tires will allow the car to achieve more MPH! but I'm sure you know that!!

Re: shut down g9
Lol the rev limiter was the only question, cause it runs great then cuts at max rpm,
17-19 mph is great for now, I have a new rzr if I wanna go fast, this is my campground / rv park and at home no cops mad at me toy |
