Default Testing generator on g2.

What is the best way to test generator on my g2? I checked the ohms between the red and green wire and got 11 ohms... I don't know if that is good or bad? The black wire going to the voltage regulator had a blown fuse, I tested the regulator by putting 12vdc on it and the contacts inside did not close. I put another regulator on it but I'm kinda afraid to start it until I find out if the ohm reading is correct in fear of burning another regulator up.

Red/green should be about 5 ohms.

The other end of this red wire going to this fuse is loose and I have no idea where it is supposed to go.... can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Looking at the wiring diagram, it looks like one end of that wire gets power at the starter solenoid and the other end connects to the key switch.

I need yalls help. This thing will not charge. I am only getting 10.5 volts between the red/white wire coming from the generator and ground. Is my generator bad? What else can I check?

Whooooooooooo!!!!! Fixed it! The green wire from the generator was broken inside one of the wire looms.
