G9 engine swap-Command Pro 26**Need help**
Hi everyone,
My stock motor is almost junk. It smokes bad and burns a quart of oil per month. I'm building a Kohler Command Pro 26- My goal is 40+ HP. The machine shop is porting the heads and honing cylinders and decking the heads. He recommended an aftermarket cam. Questions: 1. Anyone have suggestions for what aftermarket parts for the Kohler? 2. The stock G9, what is the gear ratio? 3. The stock G9, what RPM range does it run, or what RPM should I tell the engine builder to shoot for(It will depend on what Cam I choose. I've had no luck with the search, plus i'm too busy. If you can answer a question, I will thank you in advance, very much Happy Carting!!! Jonathan |
