Default EZGO Terrain 1000 lost its top speed

Have a Terrain 1000 With the Kawasaki 4 stroke. It has lost its getup and go. It still works just not as fast as it was. I raised the dump box and watched the drive belt to see if its msking it all the way to the top of the driven pulley and it seems like its about 1 inch shy of topping out. Can the drive pulley outer half be removed and lubed without needing a puller? I am guessing this is possibly part of the problem, as it was a problem eith snoemobiles back when I lived up north. Also thought the drive pulley msy need lubrication as well. Wife seems to think its just as fast as its always been but with the belt riding lower I seem to think the drive snd or driven pulles are the cause. The belt is not worn or glazed. Any suggestions are appreciated.

how old is the belt?....they get narrower as they wear.....my 93' Marathon was running so bad, I thought the motor was taking a crap....put on a new belt and it ran like it had a new motor....how much slack is in belt when motor is off?....

Did it sink to the bottom of the drive clutch? I've been weights break and won't pull the belt to the top of the drive clutch there for won't sink go the bottom of driven clutch

will the clutch be able to be removed while engine is in vehicle. Looks like it will hit the leafspring. My belt does go all the way to the bottom of the drive pulley. IIRC the clutch drive mounting bolt is a Left Hand thread, correct?
