Does anyone know what goes in this hole and what is the purpose of it. Thanks

I'm going to give you two different manuals. It would have been on page J-7 of the 88 manual, but that is not a 1988 BV-24 carb. It has the horizontal choke of the older, and smaller BV-18. Use the 85 manual to identify what is missing.

I found a picture before I removed engine for rebuild. This cart has never had that pilot screw. Maybe this will help it gain some pep. Thanks for the info Cart Around.
