Default Re: A few questions about my 1996 E-Z-Go Medalist Gas

Before you buy one make sure you can remove yours . I have seen them that are next to impossible to get out. I can't advise you on which jet to use because that is something I would not do. I know others have but I don't.
Someone else will have to advise you on which one to buy .

If you can remove the original main jet, you may find the number on it, in that case go for the next number up in size and try it.

The link posted says it is a high altitude jet for vehicles that appear to be equipped with the 350 engine. That would be a smaller main jet than standard since high elevations experience thinner air. More than likely that is the same size jet as the stock 295.

I spent time searching the web a year ago and found the two jets for the 295 and 350. At about half the price on that link. If memory serves, the 295 jet was a 92 and the 350 jet was a #94.

It is good advice to see if you can remove the old jet first. Not all jets are the same. Each manufacturer can use their own unique numbering system.

Thanks for all the replies and info.
I remember having trouble removing them on other carbs in the past...
