Look close to see if yours has the lever you pull and turn if you tow the cart . I have seen them not exactly in place. If your has this style it will be on differential.
I have a picture of it at my shop but right now I am home . Let us know if yours has this lever
At shop so here is the picture . Also I included a picture on how to adjust the two cables. Just a base setting but a start. You might have to play around with the cables to get them correct. May even have to replace them. Let us know. Good luck

Nice one Trig.
I did suggest in a PM to check the cable/cables for adjustment, but could not remember the measurement for the springs. I completely forgot about the neutral lockout though. my guess is more likely a broken cable as i dont recall seeing any lockouts in a position where you can only select one direction! and this is usually the symptom of a broken cable.

Ok, thanks for all the advice, have adjusted the cable (it’s a single able) and that seems to have solved the problem, took a few goes but now back to find, thanks again Rockinr382
