Marine antenna's have ground lead that I ran back to battery ground so thats why I used a much more expensive antenna? worked out much better but with all still have some noise on AM and slight on FM.

Plus makes more sense when using the cart outside as well. Some of the radio/console kits use a cheap internal antenna which could use a little help with grounding to reduce some of the EMI. |
