I have a 2008 Yamaha Regen. Brand new batteries. Now have intermittent stutter on take off. Dealer that put in batteries (not a Yamaha dealer) says not the batteries, Moter or controller. Don't have a Yamaha dealer close (in Sun Lakes, Az). Any suggestions?

Check that tach sensor is plugged in, it's on the end of the motor, 3 wires, white plug.
