2000 carryall hitting rev limiter
Hi guys,
Fixed all the oil leaks, went through the motor while it was apart. New coil, clean carb this thing runs like a top. Starter/generator brushes are definitely worn but I can deal.with that later. Last issue I'm facing on this thing is it keeps bouncing off the rev limiter when you hold the pedal to the floor. Feathering the gas it runs great, cruises at 15-16mph (stock bald tires still) which seems pretty good. I dont need any more speed than that. But the linkages seem all out of whack which is why I believe its bouncing off the rev limiter. Does anyone have a diagram or specs to set the throttle and governor linkages so it works like it should? Would much appreciate any help you can give! |

Never mind. Played with it and got it all sorted out. Much much better now!
