Re: Cart dies fast!
Test the batteries with a load tester or a simple hydrometer from any auto parts house!

Re: Cart dies fast!
What are reading from each cell ( POST ) are you using one of those 3-4 float
( antifreeze ) testers or are you using a single float-temp correcting unit. WORLD OF DIFFERENCE IN ACCURACY? FAIR CAN MEAN ANYWHERE FROM 30-50% ( 1.124--1.172 ) charged and is not enough to run cart without doing damage to expensive parts. 1.277 corrected for temp at 80o F. is fully charged cell? |

Re: Cart dies fast!
In other words.....WE dont't believe your batteries are in fair shape! If there was something wrong with cart it would not go. If it goes a short distance and slows or stops it is running out of power..... You could have one bad cell, one weak battery out of 6 can cause this.... How about a load test then?

Re: Cart dies fast!
Probably the easiest way to tell is take an individual battery voltage reading with a digital meter after you are charged then run it til it quits and take another individual battery reading right away. You will probably find one or more batteries are shot or you have bad battery connections somewhere.
Post up the before and after numbers and you'll get lots of input. |
