1992 G-9 release valve problem
My **** kid somehow lost the release valve on the gas tank. Does this keep a pressure in the tank or is it just a vent? I was going to fab up a cork and tube like a dirt bike till I thought about if this tank works like the jet skis and needs pressure. Anybody help me?

They call it a release valve, it's a vent. http://www.tntgolfcar.com/yamparts.php?diagramid=259

Re: 1992 G-9 release valve problem
Don't blame the kid, the valve is held in with a rubber grommet. They get hard/brittle and crack. Get a new valve and grommet and use some weather strip adheasive to glue it in.
