I did... but don't anymore!
I added marker bulbs in front, rewired everything for running lights, bought a $8 headlight switch at Auto Zone,
2 weeks later, the knob and shaft for the switch pulled right off in my hand,
bought another one... it fried a month later after washing my cart, so I put the stock switch back in!
I still haven't found a decent 3 position switch to replace it with!

Have you looked at Carling? They make all types of rocker switches and are common on boats, buses and outdoor equipment. The 3-position Carlings I have are momentary on the 3rd pos (off, on, start), but I think they make a standard 3-pos for items like wipers.

Worst case, could you use 2 switches? They're at the very least weather resistant - washing shouldn't be an issue.
