Look on the side of the passenger side glove box.

Look at the frame cross member under the front flap of the center cover over the motor. (Circled in attached picture)

Found it. See above picture.
Confused though. Tag says it is a MPT1000. Everything I read about the 1000 is that it’s a 48v system. It has 6 six volt Trojans in it?

I just glanced through an owners manual on line(starting model year 2004). Looks like it could be either. Also looks like it could be "series" or PDS. The label you photographed lists the motor as 1.87KW (2.5 HP). That is the same motor/rating as came in my TXT shuttle that was a 36v "series" system. I wouldn't assume it is supposed to be 48v without further investigation.

Looks like a 48 volt charger socket in the above picture.

Need to find out which drive system is in it.

The label says it is a MPT-1000, which is a 48V Sepex drive, but you say it has six 6V batteries, so it might be a series drive.

Is there a Run/Tow switch on the controller cover? if there is, it is a sepex drive and somebody is running a 48V system on 36V.

Hoe about some pictures under the seat. Batteries and controller and area in front of controller.

Thanks everyone for your help. This is a 48v system. Didn’t think to look under the bed for 2 more spots for batteries. Does have a run tow switch. When I bought this, the guy said that it needs a switch. Didn’t say which one. He was kind enough to give me a box with all of the switches in it. Everything is unplugged. At least the wiring isn’t cut. I am sure that I will have more questions when I get batteries. Switch on the left I haven’t a clue what it goes to?
