Default Club car 341

I know this has been discussed before I rebuilt a 341 I have done many in the past it seems to have a knocking sound I pulled the side cover back off I can not find anything wrong looking for some ideas?

Is that a flat head motor?

Is the cam sprocket loose on the camshaft? The rivets that hold that together tend to wear out with age and can loosen and break off.

The only other thing I can think of would be rod bearing clearance or the wrist pin clearance.

Did you guage the bearing clearance on the rod journal on the crank?
Did you replace any other bearings on the crank?

Piston rivets? He was referring to the rivets that hold the camshaft gear onto the camshaft itself. The piston circlips should never be loose
