Default Key no longer works on 2014 TXT after removing and replacing dashboard

Ezgo 2014 TXT Cart.

I am wanting to add a rocker panel in my dash board.
So I will have light switches, USB ports and a cigarette lighter port.

I pulled it out the dashboard to see the depth and what all was behind it.

The left side of the dashboard is the Key, light switch and charge gauge.

I took a picture of the wire connections and disconnected them.

There was only one wire on the key switch.

I put the wires back on and now the cart does not get power from the key.
The white wire back into the key switch.

I tested the solenoid by running a wire from the batteries positive to the solenoid and got the cart to turn on.

I tested the solenoid where the wire for the key switch runs and I don't get any voltage when the key is on.

I did not put the cart in tow when I removed the wires.
Not sure what to look at next.

The second wire was probably just short enough that when you pulled off the dash it pulled the second wire off of the switch. That's why it isn't in your photos.

OMG...

Their was another wire that had to connectors.
But they were bridged together and I didn't realize they were for the ignition switch.

I connected them and it works.

I really appreciate the help from everyone.

I had done some searches for key ignitions not working.
And never noticed that their were two wires..

I can continue with my project...

Girlfriend is going to love the horn that I can add my own sounds to.
