Default 2000 club car speed options

Hello, I'm a newbie that just got his first cart it's a 2000 club car. is there any speed increases out there that won't break the bank? I have new batteries in it already. Also I'm needing new tires, should I just go stock or invest in something better?

There are plenty of motor/controller packages that will get you up and running, but first we need to identify which drive system you have on your cart. I'm assuming it's a 48 volt cart? If so, list the serial number and post some pictures of it. Take a picture of the battery compartment and the motor and I'll help you identify it and we'll go from there.

Welcome to the forum!
speed is volts but sticking with stock voltage you can get larger tires, high speed motor and lose torque.
then there are high amp controllers to help the torque, motor upgrades in hp and speed and larger tires.

Search sponsors for combo packages that can get you what you want. Hunting or street ride.

I got 22's, 500amp and torque/speed motor and got 23mph...

Here are some pics, they are from the guy I bought it from. I'll get the serial number off it in the morning.
