Default 02 txt alignment

First Forum Post - I have a 2002 TXT Electric 36 volt Fleet Cart. (Series, non PDS, Late Build) The front alignment(Camber) is so bad that the tires are really wearing at a very noticeable angle. It appears the only adjustment to align the tires are at the tie rods. I know it will adjust the toe in but how do you adjust the camber?

Welcome

If the tires are wearing this bad i would suspect that the bearings are worn which is could cause this, have you taken the hubs apart to inspect?

Thanks Losthusker, appreciate the reply. No I haven't yet but will do as soon as I get it home from the golf course. (Season about over here) It just seems odd that there is no way to adjust the camber.

Will do. I understand the kingpin bushings can be an issue. How difficult are they to get out and back in.

They are not that hard to work with, it really depends on how well the cart has been taken care of in its previous life. Sometimes the king pins are really dry with no signs of grease so they can be difficult but not bad. Let us know what you find out.

Finished the alignment. Worked out well. Once the tow in was adjusted the camber didn't look so bad. The big adjustment was lining up the steering wheel after the alignment. But once I saw it was kinda just a rack and pinion set up and the adjustment process was pretty much the same as the tie rod ends it became easy. (Just a lot of jacking up and down.)
