Question Questions with a new purchase, inspection and trailering

I will be buying an RXV with an 80" top (lift kit and 23" tires), and I plan on using my 8' tilt trailer. I have a few questions.
  1. It seems like many use a strap on the floor and one to hold it tight to the front. Is that a good way to go?
  2. Should I strap the roof somehow, and if so, how?
  3. Is there anything else I need to think about?
  4. Would it be okay to drive in the rain? I'm going 45 minutes about 55 mph max, mostly under.

Now, I am getting this from one of the biggest EZ Go distributors, so I expect them to be in good shape. With that in mind, what should I be sure to inspect? The batteries will be new.

    That is fine
  2. Should I strap the roof somehow, and if so, how?

YES.....put at least a strap across the top at the front and back, or you may lose it, either do that or remove it for the trip home.
  3. Is there anything else I need to think about?

not that I can think of
  4. Would it be okay to drive in the rain? I'm going 45 minutes about 55 mph max, mostly under.

    YES, won't hurt anything
