Default Saftey shutdown??

Hey guy

I posted this on the lithium forum but no response. Hopefully I can get some traction here..

Ran into an issue this morning on my 2017 EZGo TXT with lithium batteries.

The cart shows fully charged with the Delta q charger. When the charger gets plugged in, I hear a clicking noise at the solenoid and I get power to the cart. Then when I unplug it, it still has power but when I put it into reverse, I get the beep and then about 3 seconds later, I hear the click noise again and it dies out. Almost like there is a safety and it shuts down all power to the cart.

I thought maybe it was that the batteries are dead but the charger shows fully charged with the green light.

Any suggestions?

Reading on battery when plugged into charger. Video link below on what happens when you disconnect from charger.

I watched the short video in the Lithium thread and it seems to be a cell unbalanced shutdown. If I were still down there, I would check for error codes logged by the BMS.

Thanks Bob. Would that show up on the Curtis computer? If so, I will try to find someone down here to hook it up and report back.

Certain lithium cell numbers listed multiple times like that could indicate some problematic cells in the pack.
