Default Talk me into or out of buying a RXV

I’ve been reading about various carts and learning a lot. I know everyone has opinions and favorite manufacturers and models. I am looking at a variety of carts, including multiple used RXVs. I have read several posts, including several from Bob Boyce, which say, if you buy an RXV, it should be between 2012-2019.

My question is focused on whether I should buy an RXV at all.

Please share your thoughts, knowledge and experience with RXVs.

The TXT has better aftermarket parts support, and DC drive has more performance mod options, but the RXVs AC drive is better in stock/programmed form.

I would stick with an RXV if I was to replace mine.

I've owned my rxv for 6 months now. First thing I did was have Bob tweak the stock controller. Its been joy to drive and haven't had any issues with the cart.

You can have my TXT when you pry it from my cold dead hands. When I sold my first cart a couple years ago, my cart guy loaned me a 2013 RXV to drive while he was waiting for his fleet buy to come in. I really didn't like it. My TXT drives like my truck. Turn the key, put it in gear and go. No waiting for start up tests. If you try to move too soon, you wait again while it tests itself again. The throttle response curve was different. When I want to stop, I want to stop. Not when the cart feels like it. I ride off road a lot. Going down twisty narrow trails you have to ride the brakes. Hard to do in an RXV.
It did do a bit better on the hills at camp due to the AC motor, but not enough for me to give up my TXT. For most, the RXV is the way to go. I use my cart more as an ATV than a cart so it's the TXT for me.
