Default 88 marathon stuffing 8 6 volt under the seat

Going to be fitting 8 us battery 2200s under the seat in my marathon. All input is appreciated. I have some left over 4"x1/8" flat bar from a job so that is what I plan to use for the middle tray I am going to re-fab. I plan on moving the controller and solenoid to an aluminum plate under the motor cover. The reversing contactor I have not decided yet. May go on that plate or on the wheel well by the driver's side battery. I have my doubts about mounting the contactor horizontally. It has some weight to it and the mount is offset.

Pictures of how it is currently and the batteries. What is the opinion on the us 2200s. They were the only reputable brand I could find nearby. My charger is a Summit 2 650w I hope this is adequate because I just bought it. I see the option for these batteries just wondering about I being 8 batteries. I plan to weld some of the flat bar across the existing trays to make a tray in the middle for the extra 2 batteries. Also in the picture of the battery tray I noticed the passenger frame rail has rusted out a little. I plan to either scab a piece of the flat bar on top of it or just fill it in with weld.

Bracket fabbed for center batteries. Had to cut out wiper board bracket. Used a piece of angle to box in the back. 2 pieces of flat bar front to back. Forward center battery barely misses key switch. Start fabbing mounts for the electronics tomorrow and some kind of hold down bracket for the batteries.

Nice job! You figured out a good way to get them all into place and then did a great job of carrying out the plan.
