What happens when it dies and you push the pedal? Does the solenoid still click?

Ok so it's definitely not a solenoid control circuit or an On-Board computer problem.... Try tapping the solenoid with a hammer while your pedal is on the floor and see if it'll take off. If so, replace the solenoid.

is there any sequence to the flashes? as the light sometimes flashes a code.......if your at 50 volts after a full charge i would get a volt meter and check voltage of each battery and load test them as a fully charge pack should put you at approx 55 volts or so and that may be the reason the battery light is coming on................test your batts, and post #,s we can go from there..................................

You'll need to cycle the batteries a few times until they are broken in. Use the search feature on here. You'll find plenty of useful posts about battery break in period.
