'01 Club Car Wiring Identification
Hi, new to forum. I have a new-to-me 2001 Club Car (36 V) and I am attempting to clean up all electrical connections...a lot of corrosion, rust, and dirt. I found a wiring diagram for 1988 thru 2003 carts posted by "Roady89" which I think covers my cart (looks identical). My question is...does anyone have the accompanying page that defines the wire number code and possibly the wire color?

LostHusker, that's exactly what i needed. One quick question...my solenoid does not have the external resistor indicated in the elect. diagram. Was that not used on some models? Also, dumb question...what is a "snubber"?

AS I understand some of the new Solenoids have resistor built in, but the only ones I have seen have indicated in literature that comes with new unit.
INFO FROM ALLTRAX SITE. The reason for Resistor across big teminals on solenoid is to pre-charge the filter capacitors in the controller and this minimizes the voltage across contactor to reduce arcing at contacts. 24-36 volt requires 250 OHM 10 Watt 48 Volt requires 470 OHM 10 Watt Hope this help explain? |
