Circuit breaker problem?

I have a Powerdrive Club Car charger that will trip the circuit breaker when charger reaches 8-10amps. I have recently changed out my obc with a new one and replaced the circuit breaker with a used one and is still doing the samething. I can reset the breaker and the charger kicks right on but continues to do the same in 30 minutes or so. Do ya'll think it could be the 4 year old batteries or the circuit breaker itself or what? THanks for the help.

could be either one or both..........cheapest thing is to borrow a charger if you can and try it on your cart..................if it works then we know for sure you have a charger problem, if it kicks on with the other charger than we know its ctart ..........also it could be the used C.B. you installed, your sure you put the wires froi beleive the smallmm charger to beaker back on the same spades they came from? i beleive the short 2 inch black wire from relay to breaker goes on the top spade terminal of breaker ( someone correct me if i,m wrong please ) however if you get the same problem than it could be OBC wired wrong but start by trying another charger if you can to either elimate it as prblem or isolatate it as the problem....................even a new part out of the box can be bad..................raise your hand if you have ordered a new part that was bad right out of the before you even touched it..............................................

Are you use a Extension Cord? It may get hot if you are an pop the braker.

Needs to be atleast a 12 gauge extention cord.
