Just as an update the young fellow lived long enough to be one of the many Marines lost at Chosen Reservoir during Korean war? He must have been either drunk again or brave as "H" as his family got 3 medals for his bravery before death? I saw him on board the same ship when we both were at the landing during invasion of Inchon Korea.

you would not beleive the people who ride them drunk as heck at the campground.......i have seen several accidents with a few requiring lifeflight trips.......one paralized from the neck down lots of broken bones...........sad part is you have at our campground on a friday night during the season there are hundreds of golfcarts out riding around some without any lights they use a flashlight....i know its a campground but there are 22 miles of paved road with a lot of the roads long enought to get your cart 30 mph if it will do it, last one i saw 2 girls on a lifted C.C. with a rollcage thank goodess it tried to take on a ford F-250 but it didn,t win........girls were at fault but the guy driving the ford had an open beer and he took the fall but it for sure wasn,t his fault............................

Galloway-- He was a real hero while I was one of the many that were in a ( POLICE ACTION ) not WAR to protect our country but to protect an ideal ( the UN )? I personally have no pride in what I did as it was a real waste of men, money and material and is STILL GOING ON TODAY AFTER 60 YEARS?? Ours was what Macarthur called the "FORGOTTEN WAR" because of the waste of 70,000 men most of which came from USA. The men that faught in Vietnam thought they were mistreated, but I came home after being wounded and was asked to attended my high school graduation even though I had dropped out in junior year without enough credits? I only had my uniform and so when asked to get a token diploma I was boo'd off stage because of uniform and on crutches?? Later after 2 tours of duty I came home and when applying for job was asked by man with ( ruptured duck pin ) WW2 vet if I was ready to work after screwing off for 4 years?
Sorry got off subject? I asked my Great Grand son if he could help me with a chemistery question and he gave the following "Any fruit or vegetable will cause a acid reaction and generate a current" and a wine should be much more able to generate than fresh fruit, but when asked about possible damage to an existing batterys he couldnt give me a answer? Anyone out there have a battery they would be willing to run tests on? I will try and find one and see for myself if it works and what damage it does over a period of time?
