Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
I could set the ramp down on the controller and it would be fine it just wouldn't be no fun to ride it after that!

Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
I cant get the axle in the rear end all the way. I need another 1/4 inch or so. Then I can put the bearing in properly. Do I need to open the rear end?
Thanks |

Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
What year is it? You didn't get a passenger side axle did you by mistake? They are differant lengths. You know it's the right axle for the cart.

Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
get you a grease pencil and put it on the splines then push it into the rearend to see if it is engaging all the way also put a little glob of grease on the end to see if it is hitting anything this is assuming that u used a difrent axle fron the origional

Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
This is the same axle I took out. It looks great. Is there a anything I need to do to put it back in properly? It seems like it wont go all the way into the rear end. When I look into the axle shaft I see a 1/4 inch round bar where the gears are.

Re: Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO
Pull the cover off it sounds as if you have had a pin come apart on you are sliped out of it spot. Those pins hold the spider gears on and align them with the other gears in the rear end.
