Default #2 AWG/Gauge Battery Cable thru OBC

I know I have read the answer before but cannot seem to find it in my searches.

Can someone remind me/confirm that #2 cable (without the lug installed) will make it through the OBC? I do not want to use a stud kit if I don't have to and I am going to replace mine as it is the only #4 that I have left in the battery system. Thanks

Ok, thanks. I will see how mine does. It is not a heavy jacketed sheath, but it is 600v #2 welding cable.

It goes brand by brand and sometimes roll by roll.

if you take some type of lubricant and put it on the cable sheathing it will help greatly, also it needs to go in from the side of the grommet that's tapered or beveled slightly, I just installed mine a couple weeks ago, it would never have slid through without lubricant on the sheathing.

The few I have will, spray the cable with silicone first. Never had a problem yet.
