Navitas 48-600 amp AC kit
The Navitas DC to AC Conversion Kit for E-Z-GO ITS 48 volt golf cars is designed for easy installation and increased performance over DC systems.
The super-efficient AC system results in longer run times, more torque and faster acceleration. Dealer level app access is available for qualified customers. -Replaces 1268 ITS Systems, 1264 Controls. I took the 04 Ezgo from the old 48 volt AC VCtech controller & motor to the new Navitas 48 volt 600amp controller & motor today! I had to do some wiring to get the new wiring harness in the cart but man it was well worth it. The old harness was the stock 36 volt harness. The newer 48 volt harness has some different connector's. With the help of the local cart shop here in Myrtle Beach SC (Grahams) I got a hugh increase in torque, braking and top end. With all 3 seting on max just to see what it would do it pulled the front wheels off the ground! When I let off the as I didn't even need to use the brake pedal either. I want leave it like this though but it's nice to know it will get up and go if I need to. I'm still playing with the Bluetooth app and settings for it. This thing will fly and Ive not even set all the setting yet! |

Seems like everyone has the same review about that kit!
Just sold my 4 seat cart, looking for a 6 seater to install one of these in. You get the 5kw? |

Re: Navitas 48-600 amp AC kit
I think I found the problem on the old system. I started taking the old motor out and found this! It was on the backside of the batteries where it curved around the battery tray, couldn't see it until I started pulling the cables out. New cables are plenty long enough and shouldn't be any problem.
The old AC motor doesn't have near the power as this new one does. 2898 top RPM and it's only a 4.5KW. Anybody know a good place to send off and get it checked out and see if it's any good? |

Re: Navitas 48-600 amp AC kit
So far I'm very impressed with it. The Bluetooth is nice. I can lock the system out and you can't move the cart. It want do anything. This will be a nice feature this summer while down on the beach. I also like the programing of it. Very easy to use and setup.
