In need of someone that knows CC carts
I've spoken with techs that are as dumbfounded as I am. I am working a 06 CC precedent that is whooping my arse....... Here we go,
Cart came in not running. it has been parked in a barn for about year. Replaced batteries because they were dead. After replacing batteries, nothing. Found the solenoid was bad. Replaced solenoid and cart would move. (This is where it gets interesting) Went to test drive cart and it started "beeping" while at 1/4 throttle as if it was rolling down a hill. Fast steady beep. As I pressed the throttle to the 1/4 point, it would "buck" (while still beeping). Once it quit bucking, it would do full speed but the beeping would continue. The beeping will not stop until you're below 1/4 throttle. Now let me tell you what I have replaced........... I have replaced the MCOR, Speed Sensor, Controller, removed motor and checked brushes and commutator. Polished commutator and freed up the brushes. (1.4 ohms between F1 and F2 after rebuild) The DANG thing is still doing the same thing. I don't know if I've scratched my head more than scratching my arse on this one. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Any help would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!!! |

Re: In need of someone that knows CC carts
^ what greg-g said.
Did you use a OEM speed sensor? Check the wiring to the sensor and trace it back for damage. Also, check the parking brake wiring near the motor since you said you removed the motor to work on it. The only other thing I know to check is the F/R switch for a short or the wiring to the buzzer has come in contact with the F/R wiring. Hope this helps you. |
