Default 1984 club car ds

Hello, im new to golf carts and new here. I got a 1984 club car DS. Just replaced the batteries, f/r switch, all 5 relays, the resistor coils, battery cables an changed almost all connections as old ones were corroded. I put everything back together when I put it in forward and step on the pedal the relays just click when I step on the pedal in reverse it has a loud vibrating sound but doesn't move. I have a video of the sound but am not sure how to post it. The cart was moving under its own power a couple of weeks ago but very slowly an stopped when an adult sat on it. Thanks for any help.

As Bodule has pointed out, and you will soon find out, that cart will never function properly with those batteries.

First things first. Is that a cable running from the "pack" negative bolted to the frame? If so, get rid of that right away.

They are not golf cart batteries. They are just 12v deep cycle. there is a wire going from the negative to the frame. That was there when I got the cart the original cable was corroded/ rusted so I changed it to a new one. Thanks for any help it's greatly appreciated.

I'll try to upload the wiring diagram. Network is cutting up right now. Completely eliminate that cable to ground. None of this circuit connects to chassis ground.

Nothing wrong with being new and not knowing these things. None of us did at first. Forget everything you know about working on cars etc. What you have is an electrocution hazard with that cable going to the frame.
