That is a nice diagram sthreatt. One thing Iv'e found out to look for on these carts is the key switch wiring varies for some years. Some had a negative switch and some positive. Some even had a negative key switch with a RED wire.

I suggest to the OP here he traces down the key switch wiring to see what he has.

maybe back then it was Covid 14 or 15 and they had a shortage of black wire ....

Thanks for all the help so far. I have the cart running moves in forward and reverse. But now it's melting the ignition wires? Any ideas? Thanks again for any help.

The two wires that go to the back of the key switch.

Check the source of the wire going TO the switch.

There's a a red wire from the key switch to the charge port and the other is like a blueish green color that goes to the micro switch on the f/r switch
