Even if it is not the dropout issue, I still recommend getting the harness as it is only a matter of time until it happens, especially since you have the 02

Yes, I agree. How did you determine I have a re-manufactured cart?

By the serial number. 7F indicates that it is a manufactured cart

Ah. Things you learn as you go. Well perhaps it will be easily resolved. It's a 200 mile tow to the lease and then another 200 home with a trailer and cart in tow so I want to have it right before I go back so I can leave it down there.

I'm 99% confident that the harness will fix it. Just to be sure, unplug the wires at the F-R switch and clean them, and then reassemble and drive the cart

Just a thought, but typically DC switches are "fast action", meaning they have some kind of "spring action" inside. That is what ussualy fails and cause the intermittent failure (like the switch in the MCOR).

You really need to bypass it or at least change the wires (to the side you think is good) before you can rule it out.

Also, since you cart was re-manufactured by club car, make sure the drop out harness is not already installed.

Does anyone know when that drop out harness was released by club car?

I thought about that as well. Passthru, if you don't mind, can you pull the key switch panel and see what the serial number sticker says that is on the frame underneath there? It should have the original serial number sticker before it was remaned. Sergio, pretty sure it was released in 2004

I have the panel off already, no number is visible. Also, it has the suggested wiring harness installed already.

Look at the second picture on the DS side. The sticker is not there?
