Fuse Block Location

Anyone out there have a good place to mount a Blue Sea Systems Fuse Block?

Scooterman link doesnt work, but that sounds exactly like the one I've got.

I've tried several locations, what has worked best for me is the bottom inside corner of my passenger glovebox door. I wanted easy access to the fuses without it normally being seen.

With glovebox door shut, cant see it. Glovebox open gives easy access to fuses. Because its on the door its not in the way when using the glovebox. Also by mounting it close to the dash it also cut down on the length of wire needed because it is so close to the dash switches.

I will try to get a couple pictures on here later, I've been meaning to update my build thread anyway.

BTW, BlueSea Fuse blocks are small with a fairly thin profile and should provide you many options for placement.

Its made by "Stretch Plastics", model C-5-09? I'm real happy with the looks & having a door to keep prying eyes off whatever we put inside, but it leaks rain water into the dash, doesnt lock securely & requires drilling through the face of your dash frame (if ever removed there will be screw holes left behind), the door hinges vibrate like crazy too. I have a whole rant about it on my build thread - don't get me started again LOL! I would not recommend anyone buy this particular dash, maybe some of the other SP models are better? — but there are plenty of other dashes out there, including OEM. As you know the DS is not lacking in the accessory department ...but I digress.

In any case, if you have any kind of glove box door, easy access and very short wire runs to the dash switches make it a great option for mounting the fuse block. I attached mine with 3M velcro after cleaning both surfaces with alcohol.

BTW, the negative on my block is definitely hooked up, I guess it just cant be seen because its black ...or because I cant take a good picture to save my life Ill grab a closer pic without the fuse cover later.
