Retractable power cord replacement

Hi there. I have a Precedent i2 Villager 4 electric golf cart 2010 model.

The retractable power cord has always been troublesome and over time it has been taking longer and longer and has taken increased pushing and pulling to get the cable to retract fully after charging.

Is there a good replacement part that can be recommended? Preferably something a little easier to use than the original Club Car part.

I am living overseas and so need a part with a UK plug if possible.

Any ideas please? Can't even find the replacement part (which was rotten quality, but I need to do something).
