93 gas cart
Ok guys, I took on a repair project for a friend on his 93 gas cart. When he would hit the throtlle it would act like it wants to turn over then nothing. Solenoid was clicking but the battery side was loose inside the solenoid. I tested the battery, and it is very weak. I went ahead and bought a solenoid from my local auto parts store that is rated for 12v and looks just like the steel barrel solenoid on the cart. I hookes it up just like the other solenoid, and now I got nothing when I hit the pedal. Cannot hear the solenoid click. I made sure to hook it up just like the one that came out of it. I have searched for a wiring diagram of this solenoid, and cannot find anything on here or other places. Does anyone have a wuiring diagram for a 93 gas cart solenoid?

Re: 93 gas cart
Is it a 2 stroke or 4 stroke?
You can't use a car solenoid. You need a continuous duty golf cart solenoid. |

Re: 93 gas cart
It is a 2 stroke. I got it figured out. The fuse holder to the ignition switch was corroded like hell. Replaced that , and once I install a,new battery all will be right. Ho-ho-ho

Re: 93 gas cart
You know, this thread brings me to a thought. Why would someone ask for help, then ignore those who offer help? Never understood that one.
