I notched the frame on my G1 to get the clutch to clear the frame. Check with Todd Dolfi on here. I believe he made a homemade lift for his G1 and it is TALL!

Thanks Tonka [I think] 1320n8 I'm finding that the yamaha's are very well built, but any cart you get will need a little fab. work to lift unless you buy it.. I do what I call the econo lift..My friend and I work construction and he has the welder so the pieces come really cheap..Good luck with what ever cart you buy

Yes Tonka329 set me up with his old cart. He said it needs body and paint work. That is okay, I will just drop it by a friend of mine shop and he will take care of that. As Tonka329 stated his is already setup. Bought it site unseen, but hope it works out. Thanks Tonka329 for working with me.

I don't want to steal this thread. I have seen different lifts out there for the G1. Do a search for Heavygs (I think). I like it. On the front brackets he fab a 2" receiver in with the plates, very neat.
I also have seen people are using bed lining for paint. That would be a great ideal too. I may do the one I bought off of tonka329 with bed liner.

There ya go Kevin! Bed liner will hide alot of blemishes after the cracks get fixed!
