hey yall! thanks to everyone answering my dumb reptative ?'s over the last few days! im fresh meat to the colf cart world and have been trying to learn everything i can about them! this is my 2000 ezgo txt series cart i just got for $1200! i think i got a pretty good deal! ive used it several times over the last 2 weeks and it seems to be operating just fine! i think it holds a great charge! i think! it goes 27 holes of golf no problem! thats pretty good i think! only problem is its a little slow up the hills which im going to work on with a new controller and cables and maybe an upgraded motor in the future! i look forward to tricking this puppy out over time! going to get her a nice paint job pretty soon and get that controller in and start climbing those hills like a champ! at the moment i can walk up them faster LOL anyhow thank you for all the answers to all the ?'s! great site here! here she is!!! think i got a decent deal????
ill def be using the sponsors for all my future upgrades!! |

Goof
Looks like a nice cart there, does not sound like a bad deal neither, definitely start with cables and controller and take it from there, it really depends on what you want to do with the cart and how fast you want it to go. |

hey Goofy, Looks like you got a well taken care of machine for a decent price. Just judging from the floor mat and rubber looks like it was not left outside much.

ya that is what ive gathered the last few days! all im looking for really is a decently fast cart (which i have on level ground) and it to climb the hills on my course with some spunk (which im lacking) cart does about 15 mph until i hit the hills, then she creeps up them! the later in my play the tougher the hills are to climb :D

ya the inside is actaully in great shape! couple stains on the seat which i can take care of and the body has a few scratches from the guys kids i think! but other than that! it seems solid! a good paint job and she'll be looking new!

I was reading your other thread, start with the cables and controller, if you are still not satisfied then you can look at getting a different motor, BEWARE once you start down this path there is no return it is tooooo addictive..
