help with connecting rods on 295 robin
cant remimber how the cap fits on the rod?anyone? there is a nipple on one side of the rod and the cap do they line up or are they aposed to each other? also what is the torque? book says 12 - 14 what the heck does that mean?

LIne up the nipples..and it means 12-14 foot pounds, using a torque wrench those capscrews are supposed to be between 12-14 foot pounds of torque tight.
Don't over tighten them. They will pop at high heat if they are too tight. Autozone will loan a torque wrench if I am not mistaken. The caps are NOT supposed to be lined up "opposites" |
