Default Adding a 48V voltage meter to a 36V cart?

I converted my 36V PDS to 48V, and bought a 48V voltmeter. The diagram doesn't quite take my situation into account.

There are 3 terminals. I'm assuming 1 is to the key side to tell the meter when to come on. The other 2 would read the voltage. Can I tie those in to the batteries directly? Where should I tie the first wire to the key at?

Follow the schematic on the lower right. It's perfect for your cart. Take terminals 1 & 2 to the battery pack. #1 to Main Pack Positive, #2 to Main Pack Negative. Terminal #4 goes to the White/Yellow terminal on the keyswitch.

Kind of what I was thinking, but it shows a 3 terminal switch, and where it goes to the pack, that was unclear. Thanks for the advice, I'll try that tomorrow. Wanted to get this thing hooked up to try and break-in the batteries.

It's not really a 3 terminal switch. It's just showing 2 connections on 1 of the terminals. The diagram wasn't drawn by one of us, eh? LOL!
