Default replacing a curtis 1206 with a 1204

Ok I am little brain dead this morning. I am trying to remember the wiring for this replacement. The 1206 is 5 pins with 4 wires, "red, black, white , orange" and and the 1204 has 3 connections, p1, p2, p3. ..P1 is the Key input, P2 and P3 are for the f/r control. . uuuuugh. This is far as I got. See I knew I should have gone to the Jimmy Buffett concert today, but decide to work on a friends cart. lol Any body got the solution.

They don't/wont swap out like that. A 1206 is has an ITS throttle and a 1204 has a 0-5K ohm throttle.

p2 and P3 are for the 2 wires for 0-5k throttle input.

It will work for a series cart but it wont work with an ITS throttle. Anything with a 1206 is going to be ITS. Your either going to have to find another 1206 or an Alltrax AXE.
